Garden Ponds - Pond Liners
A popular alternative to a preformed pond is to use a pond liner. Size for size pond liners are considerably less expensive. It could be argued that the finish is not quite as neat as a preformed pond, this is probably true when it comes to smaller ponds, however using a pond liner, a pond of any size, shape or depth can be constructed.
Quality pond liners will carry a lifetime guarentee. For larger ponds we recommend using a thick rubber liner, smaller pools are easier constructed using pvc, as it is a thinner material and very supple. Generally PVC liners are about half the price of the rubber linners, which may be another consideration.
